Through the My Cat Puddinhead & Judah years, I played bass on the Worship Team at Mill Creek Foursquare church. During this time I met Jason Becker. Jason played guitar and sang. He also was an active part of the Youth Ministry and Worship Team. It was from the youth ministry that About This Big was born.

The church had planned a fund raiser and About This Big was the entertainment. Jason asked me if I would be interested in helping out. I agreed. So practice sessions began and rough recordings were made. Then came the date of the fund raiser. The show was a success! Everybody enjoyed themselves and Jason conceived the idea to record his music.

So About This Big went to Wiseman Studios and recorded Chaos Theory.
